 I would like to buy a  S7000,  i can buy one at a  reasonably cheap price.  All the reviews i have read are from 2004 when it was released,  so 15 years old now.  I am a beginner as such and a pensioner so cost is very important to me. the specs look very good  but are they good enough for todays use,  I hope somebody will come back to me on this.  Thanks Tony W.

Welcome to our forum. I would look for a more recent camera, there has been a lot of development during the past 15 years.
