On my Xt3, this black bar appears on every video, in every card, in every DR range, every fps. Only on 1080p though, and when the lens is between 18 to 23. Hadn't noticed till now. Then i checked my old videos, and saw it there too. Firmware all latest.
lens: 18-55 xf 2.8 - 4.

      Hello Everyone,
I just picked up an XT2 and this is my first Fuji camera, really excited about using it. I've been watching a lot of youtube videos and reading forum post to familiarize myself with the camera and its settings. I am very impressed by the film simulations but really confused on how to use them in conjunction with RAW files. I was under the impression that if I shoot RAW+JPEG(Fine/Norma) with a film simulation selected (e.g. Chrome). Simulation is applied to JPEG only and RAW file is pure raw without any processing that I can edit however I want in post processing. But I took the camera out for the first time and realized the film simulation is applied to both JPEG and RAW. Is there a way to shoot with film simulation applied to JPEG but get unprocessed RAW files from XT2?
Thanks for everyone's help in advance!

I know that Fuji IBIS does work with Vintage lens but only 3 axis.
I wonder is this work all 5 axis with VIltrox 85mm f/1.8 lens?

Thank you very much, somebody please answer me!

      Hello Everyone,

I’m trying to use the FujiFilm phone app: CAM REMOTE with my X100F and while it works well for taking pictures, I am having difficulty with using it for video, which I would really like to do.

While I can do a single focus, when taking pictures, by tapping the screen where I would like to focus, then taking the picture, this does not work in the video mode.

In video mode, it seems the only option is for a continuous focus mode where it is always searching for focus — seems like it is looking for movement and focusing on that. Is there are a way to change it so that I can tap on my phone screen and set a single focus point and NOT have it continuously searching for focus (it makes quite a bit of noise).

Any other apps (for iPhone or Mac) or advice on recording video (being able to control focus and start a video) remotely using the x100f, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I've been using my XH1 for a couple of weeks and have been shooting video. Recently when I shoot in F-Log I cant get the ISO below 800, it will let me choose a higher ISO but when I drop to 800 the ISO turns yellow and wont let me choose a lower setting. Am I being daft or have I clicked an auto setting by mistake I don't know about ? Any help or advise would be great.

      Evening all.

My names Jim from a little city called Lincoln, Lincolnshire in the UK. If you're reading this and from the UK, you've probably heard of where I am from recently due to the success of our football team. I'm not a football fan, but it's good the boys have done well.

I've been into photography from a really young age, starting off from pinching my parents Kodak film camera (the long thin type you pulled apart and pushed together to wind the film on!) and having one of my photos I took of a windmill locally, published in the local paper when I was around 8 or 9 years old.

It wasn't until about 13 years ago that I really started to take a real interest in the hobby. I saved up and bought a Fuji S9600 Bridge Camera. I loved this and it really helped develop my skills, but it begun to restrict me somewhat with regards to versatility (unable to change lens) and go fully manual to learn what things do.
I then purchased a Pentax K10d DSLR and built up a small collection of lenses, which I used to death up until last year, when a colleague of mine began to show me his collection of various Fuji X cameras. I loved the design, how compact they were but most of all the image quality, notably the ISO perfomance, which I still can't believe today.

I have been a happy owner of my XT-10 now for almost a year. I have the basic XF 18-55mm, which for a "kit" lens is unbeliebable quality, a XC 50-230mm which I use a lot for wildlife photography and motorsport's and a Samyang 8mm Fish eye.

I would love a few more different lenses, particularly the 100-400mm lens, but with the cost it's completely pipe dreams for me. I may hire one, but I worry that it'll make me want one even more.  Would also love another lens to help with wedding photography, something that will give a nice DOF. I have one wedding under my belt, but need more confidence!

Anyway, that's my rather long winded hello. I'm off to explore the forum.

      regards,

      Jim.

    • Well done Fujifilm! I'm very satisfied hearing about the new X100V. My key wishes became true! Sharper lens, better weather resistance and 4K video. I ordered it already!
    • It's normal behavior of many Fuji XF lens, I also noticed it on XF 56mm F1.2, 23mm F1.4. Looks like it's related mostly to camera firmware controlling the lens.
    • Look into the Godox V350F, V860II, or V1F. I just bought the V1F for off camera shooting, and I'm so happy with the results. I don't shoot professionally, and I use it with a remote trigger on my X-T1 Good luck
    • I have an X-T1 as well, and already placed my pre-order for the X100V. I contemplated the X-Pro3, but its too large for the purpose that I would want it for. I think the X100 series is hard to replace if you want something small but mighty. If you want the X100V for the size, the X-Pro3 is noticeably larger even when using it with the 27mm (I had the change to check out a pre-production unit).   Don't forget, the X-T4 is also about to come out, I think I'm going to sell a kidney, and g
    • Hello there! I am new to this forum and a proud owner of an X-T2. Last night I wished to try interval timer shooting to stack some star tracks, so I programmed my gear for 545 1-second exposures each separated by 10 seconds, at ISO 1000.  OIS was off, AF was set to manual with focus set at infinity and aperture also set to manual, at the widest setting for the lens. The body firmware version is 4.30 and the battery was fully charged. When the shooting was over, I was disappointed to see
