TTL Flash using an X-T1 and a Nikkon SB700 Unit

Recommended Posts

I'm in the process of selling my Nikon gear.  The only thing that has held me back is that I love the Nikon TTl Flash system.

I own A SB700 and some Pocket Wizards for the Nikon units.

I also own the X-T1 and Fuji EF-42 Flash unit.  I want to be able to use mySb700 either on the camera with a trigger, or remotely (short range)

Does anyone make these units?  I'd love to hear back from someone.  I would appreciate it if it works on TTL

Many Thanks Guys

J

I use SB-700 with Fuji via Cactus V6 adapters. No TTL but you can alter the power of the flash remotely. Works great! You can also mount SB-700 on camera via V6. No TTL again but it works. Nevertheless the weight balance is awful so I don't recommend it.

The only way to have off camera TTL on Fuji is to use a Fuji TTL-compatible flash (Fuji or Nissin) and adapt it via Canon TTL cord. I haven't tried it but some people say it works.
