Anyone adapted a Sigma Art lens?

Recommended Posts

I'd like a wide-aperture portrait length lens for my x-system.

I've been looking at a 56 f1.2

BUT

Has anyone here had luck (or sorrow) from adapting Sigma Art lenses to Fuji cameras?

Specifically, I'm thinking of getting a Sigma 50mm f1.4 and adapting it via a Fringer Pro II. (I'm transitioning from Canon)

I've heard this lens is stellar. But it's massive.

I'm wondering if the AF suffers, and whether or not there's any advantage to either lens (I can get the Sigma cheaper).

I have the above mentioned setup (fuji xt3 with sigma 50 1.4 art canon mount with pro ll fri ger and it works line charm as long as yiu stay at f8 or below. Mist of the tomes I shoot wide open and its a great match. Good overall sharpness (no pixel pipping here) soomth, creamy bokeh. Speed is much faster then fuji 56 1.2...
