Live view at higher exposure

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

complete newbie post here... hopefully someone can help.

I recently invested in some Fuji equipment (XT30 camera and some Fuji lenses). I also got some Pentax vintage equipment to perform reverse lens super macro photography.

What I am trying to achieve is to see the LCD at higher exposure (longer shutter speed) so I can compose and focus properly before I capture an image with 1/250 or 1/500 shutter speed. when I manually set the shutter speed to this (1/250) everything on the screen is black. If I have the shutter speed set to 1/30 I am able to see everything clearly and properly compose and manually focus.

I am using the following -

Fuji XT30

28mm extension tube

reversed 28mm Pentax M lens

Meike 320K flash

I am able to get the reversed lens about 50mm from the subject with a magnification of 2x to 3x. Just need help with the 'live view' so I can focus and compose correctly.

thanks all.

Matt
