Guys, that's what I'm looking for as tips. Can someone instruct me on how to get these results?

There are at least three options to get a nice bokeh shot.

- use a long focal length, e.g. >50mm

- get close to the subject (you can also use macro rings/extension tubes or macro lenses to get even closer) and keep a decent distance to the background

- use big apertures, e.g. f/1.4

All these three can also be combined. Here you can see how it all works together: http://www.fuji-x-forum.com/topic/317-135mm-lens-comparison/

135mm, f/2.5, 3m subject distance, ~13m background distance

I just took a couple of sample photos with the new 90mm F2 lens.  I am not a professional but this lens is a winner so far.

These are untouched jpegs right out of camera.  If I am in the wrong thread let me know.
