Stuck in Pair with Smartphone?

I'm less than satisfied with the Cam Remote app so I turned off the pairing.  Now my camera is stuck on the Start Menu/Pairing Registration/Pair a Smartphone? screen.  I have tried pairing it again, and it just searches.  I can't get out of the screen to do anything else.  Anyone else have this problem?  How do I solve it?  The camera is unusable as it it.

Hi @PaddleJim and @Ebuur,I now have this issue. Did you guys found any solutions yet? Please share if you do; I am d bit desperate about this.
