Hi - I'm new both to the group, and the X100F.

I bought my X100F last week and am still learning my way around it.

One thing I've noticed when using the wide converter, is that the frame lines in the OVF disappear.

Is that supposed to happen?

Does it meant that they aren't necessary when using the converter?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hi,

Yes that is normal. The view angle of the viewfinder corresponds to the view angle of the camera with the wcl attached.

Thus the frame lines disappear and you need to consider that what you see in the viewfinder is rougly what is captured.
