Godox X1T-F TTL - use with strobes

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Please pardon the noob-sounding question, but I'm just trying to get a straight answer on this....

So the X1T-F is a flash trigger, I get that. I want to use this to trigger my non-godox strobes. There is no receiver made for Fuji. So... does this work as both? Do I get one of the receivers made for nikon/cannon/etc?

I'm just confused by all this.  Thanks!!

first of all you have chose a trigger and xt1-f is a trigger godox for fuji. This can pilot only flashes godox or other flashes not by channel but only with sensor of th lights

IF you would use flash godox for camera not fuji,  this is possible, you have only to  change a trigger godox different that is usable with the other camera (es nikon X1T-N, canon X1TC, sony X1T-S)

Hey, I'm not quite sure what you're saying exactly..

I'm using the xt1-f transmitter on my fuji camera. I want to hook a couple of them up to some strobes I have, via the cable port. But Godox doesn't make fuji transmitters. So my question is: does anyone know if the xt1-f is a receiver as well, or if I can use the xt1-c or xt1-n receivers.

Thanks - hopefully that's more clear :)

You cannot use the X1T-F as receiver! (The "T" in X1T-F stands for Transmitter.)

Hi YF Photography,

Yes, you can use the X1T-F or XPro-F trigger with X1R-N or X1R-C receiver (indeed, there is no X1R-F receiver), to trigger your non-godox strobes (through cable connection) and speedlights (through hot-shoe). But only in manual mode (No TTL, No HSS).

You can also use Godox 2,4G Wireless speedlights (like TT350F, V350F, TT685F, V860ii-f, ...) as wireless trigger, with X1R-N or X1R-C receivers, or directly with Godox 2,4G Wireless speedlights and strobes.

(Finally you may also use optical slave on your non-godox strobes and speedlights.)

PS: If you use only Godox 2,4G Wireless speedlights and strobes as receivers, you have cross brand compatibility for zoom-head, TTL, and HSS! Only the transmitting device (transmitter or speedlight) has to be made for your system (FujiFilm).
