AF-C mode and back button focus (X-T20)

Hi all,

Lately, I noticed that many shots were out of focus and that's what I discovered: When I'm using the back button focus in AF-C, and remove my finger from the back button to keep the focus lock (like I do in AF-S mode), the camera is unable to "completely" lock the focus. It looks like a bug because the focus is stay locked but slightly changed.

I took these pictures on a tripod, IOS off:

  1. On AF-S mode, I lock the focus using the back button and the picture is sharp (Image #1)
  2. On AF-S mode, as long as I keep holding the back button, everything is working properly (Image #2)
  3. On AF-S mode, if I stop pressing the back button, the focus slightly changed (Image #3)

From what I know, in many DSLR's, there is a way to enjoy the two worlds by setting the camera to AF-C for single and continuous focus.

Is anyone having the same issue?
