X-T2 sold

My much loved X-T2 has been sold to a dealer as I cannot rationalise having two bodies! And as the X-H1 has stolen my affections, I needed to move the X-T2 on.

I thought long and hard before selling to Park Cameras in the U.K. but it had to head off into the sunset! Thence onto a new owner who will have a nice pristine X-T2 to enjoy!

Mike G, I agree completely.  I love my new X-H1.  My T2 is now on permanent loan to a friend.  T3 will have to be something really special to make me buy it.  I can't imagine what they could add that would make me want it.

My thoughts exactly, Mike G and cale33. The X-H1 is everything I'd hoped it would be. I've been hanging on to my X-T2 thinking I might part-exchange it for the forthcoming 8-16mm f2.8 - but that seems to be a long time arriving (and will probably be a bit of a brick when it does!)

But I will *definitely* be keeping my X-Pro2: I just love that camera. Perfect partner for the X-H1 as each has a slightly different things that it's best-suited for.

That also was my intention but noting that there seems to be a glut of X-T2s around I decided to cut and run before the glut turns into a torrent! Trusting that any new cameras may be announced at the same time as the 8-16mm f2.8! so that may not be the right time to sell or PX what will be yesterday’s model albeit a very good yesterday’s model!

Yes, I'm rather concerned about this, Mike G. The numbers on the dealers' websites don't seem to be going down much, either. I guess you're right about the 8 -16mm probably being launched at the same time as another new camera (like the X-T3!). I hadn't thought this through, but it would fit with past patterns. (Sigh...) - decision time!

    • I have an X-T5 and am having the same problems with write errors in both SD slots. I'm using Lexar Pro cards that have been formatted for the camera. Any suggestions other than sending it back (at great expense) to Fuji Canada?
    • Some elements in (autofocus) lenses are „floating“, so I guess what you are experiencing is normal.
    • How do I turn off the electronic shutter in the menu - the option is grayed out and I cannot select the mechanical option
    • I'm having trouble finding a way to attach a right-angle viewfinder to the Fuji X-H1 camera. Does anyone have experience with how the angle viewfinder behaves in combination with the EVF? Is the Minolta frame diameter of the right angle viewfinder suitable for attaching to the Fuji XH1 (or XT1, 2, 3, 5)? Does anyone have knowledge about which eyepiece is compatible with the Fuji X system? Thank you in advance for any assistance and information you can provide.
    • I purchased a gently used XF 80mm f/2.8 aspherical macro for my X-T5. Not being familiar with this lens but having had experience with the Leica T mount 60mm macro and Canon and Zeiss macros, I was surprised that I felt what might be best described as a loose lens element that shifted when I tilted the lens, even before being mounted to the camera. In manual focus mode, the lens is fine, but there is a distinct “wobble” when the lens is in autofocus mode. I reported this to the company (I bought it from KEH), and they agreed this was odd and accepted it back for a full refund. I just got a replacement lens and the same thing is happening. I’ve never had an experience in which I feel a lens element loose inside the housing. Is this normal? Should I return it (again)?
