I wouldn't say the Nikon 50 1.4 is low quality. It's actually a great 50mm. Granted, it can be soft wide open, but then again which lens is not soft wide open? One stop down and it's already tack sharp. Bokeh are also beautiful from this lens, not distracting but not too soft or generic either. I think among my Nikons the only one that beats the 50 1.4 is the micro 55 2.8.

As for the OP's question, I'll check when I get home as I don't remember which adapter I'm using. I definitely have some K&F which so far have worked great, but can't recall if I'm using a K&F for the Nikon as well.
