When will X-T2 price drop?

Given the new HX and the March launch of an X-T3 when do we see a price drop on the T2?  I bought once right before the next version of a Fuji product came out and paid a whole lot more than I would have just six weeks later....

I wonder if it will drop. I’m not sure the X-H1 is aimed at the same user as the X-T2. The X-T and X-Pro models are compact, light and portable. The X-H1 is bigger and heavier and a better balance with bigger lenses. I think it’s more likely to compete with DSLRs for sports and wildlife photography.

I think that in June x-T2 will be sold at 1000 euros

I'm with Warwick, I think the X-T2 and the X-H1 are aimed at different users. While I like all I have seen/read about the X-H1, I like my X-T2 for the photography I'm doing. I just can't say enough good things about the X-T2.

Depends on how much X-T2 stock they have still. They didn't lower the price on the X-H1 until like...9 months ago and then they were all gone.

Here in Ontario Canada the price just dropped by C$350. I just ordered the XT2 body from Henry’s for C$1749.99. Vistek also has the same price while Best Buy has it at $2049.

C$1749 = US$1362 at today’s exchange.

As a follow up, Henry’s had a Family-Friends day on the day I picked up my X-T2 and I got a further $300 off making it C$1449.99. I was very pleased.

The most significant drop will be when Fujifilm announces the X-T3. Then all those with G.A.S. will be listing theirs on eBay.
