Terrible service from Fujifilm Japan

My GF32-64 exhibited some very loud whining sound when focused. So I decided to send in for a check out as it was under warranty. After 3 weeks of visit to Fujifilm Japan repair (I bought a Japan stock), it came back with a note stating a few rattling sound is consider normal and all lens seems to be normal upon checking. So they didn't do anything to it.

 

Upon picking it up again here in Shanghai, putting it on my body, lord and behold, the damn thing exhibit the same problem as before I sent it out. It will make a grinding loud sound when focus!!!! It's very very loud and I recorded a video of it. After a few more try, the lens decided not to work anymore and the 'Turn off and Turn on' error message appear... How the hell can they not hear that grinding sound? How do they find that sound acceptable as normal???

 

Fujifilm, what kind of repair service you are running over there? Your technician decide whether the a lens is normal without putting it on the camera to test it?

 

Anyway, I will call them up and tell them how I feel about the time and potentially more damage their negligence has caused me... They are really treating their customer like jokes!

Yes good luck indeed. I hope someone realizes that customer care must never become a mere afterthought. I have seen this so many times in the past and if not stamped out, people move on and the company languishes.
