How to make a window diffuser?

If you really want to do something simple and quick to mount and dismount, quickly and at a very low cost get some polystyrene about 3 cm thick (they come in different sizes ).

Pin it together with bamboo skewers and put a sheet of tracing paper of the appropriate size in front of it.

This is how I learned (and made myself) to make portable window light banks when I was a stage (still) photographer for the cinema. I have taught many students to do these things when I taught studio photography.

True these days these things ( soft boxes made in China with stand and lamps can cost as little as €150 a set of 3 ) cost very little compared to what they used to in my day.heavyweight-tracing-paper-112gsm-rolls-a71maoWKqlKL._SY355_.jpgpolystyrene-sheets-polystyrene-sheets-epPhoto-Studio-font-b-Soft-b-font-font-b-B
