Hello,

Hope everyone is fine

i bought a x-T50 couple weeks ago and started using it last week.

I’m a photographer and Filmmaker in Brazil and the X-T50 is my sixth Fujifilm camera. (Still have two x-t3s as my workhorses)

well, today i had a terrible time trying to use the X-T50 as a second camera during an interview shooting.

It kept stopping recording. It simply overheated after a few minutes recording at 4K| 60 in the lighter codec (50 Mb/ S i guess)

The conditions were perfect: indoor, air-conditioner 24ºC / 75F)…

I took it back to my office and the problem happen again and again.

i was not able to record more than 10 minutes without overheating the camera.

once the X-T50 is almost 8 years newer than the old XT3s, i was very surpresed going throuh this problem.

Does anyone have a clue of what os going on?

Guys,

The Brazilian tech service gave me an important info: this model has a setup option in the config menu which allows the camera keep recording in Higher temperatures.

As i said, my camera is brand new and was set to STD auto power off temp.

Probably it Will keep getting hot, but i believe  it Will keep recording since i changed the set up.

Of course the information was avaliable in the manual PDF but i did not read it until now.

best regards all
