FUJI GFXs 100ii-Top LCD

I cannon figure out how to turn the top LCD screen off when camera is OFF.

 

I would like it to turn on when camera is on but not when OFF.

Also camera makes a small sound when on..this is probably normal but would like affirmation.

As far as I remember that top screen never is ‘off’ it always displays even when camera is off and does NOT drain the battery.

I would think that Fuji would make that known to users. I find it odd also that none of the many Fuji YT videos mention this.

Yes LCD is never OFF.
