Hello, I'm new to Fujifilm cameras, and new to the forum - looks like a great place. I've a new (to me) Fujifilm x100VI

I'm in Scotland, enjoy shooting digital and also film (I use 120, 35mm, and 5"x7", processing my own).

I'm a bit concerned about some colour banding I've seen of one of my test images - straight into sun. Anyone seen this sort of thing before ? The image is processed only from raw to jpg;  x100VI, ISO 125, f/8, firmware 1.20

Any thoughts on this would be welcome, thanks, Andy

I agree with the lens flare suggestion. For one thing the bands appear oriented exactly the same direction as the edges of shadows, to the extent that that's visible. For another, it beats me how something could go wrong with image rendering to create bands that are NOT perfectly horizontal or vertical.
