Hello,

let me start by saying that English is not my first language. So I'm sorry if there are any mistakes. I have had the Fuji XT-5 since last year. I am very happy with the camera, but since then I have also had some problems with it. The camera sometimes seems to freeze. For example, if I turn off the camera, the LCD screen remains on. I can look through it but none of the functions work. It only stops if I tae out the battery. The indicator light also flashes red very often. It has already been sent to the factory but they say they can't find anything. I am very happy with the camera, but I find it worrying that this is already happening. I reset it to factory settings. I had updated it first, but I have now removed that update as well. Are there others with this problem? Or does anyone know a solution?

Thank you in advance

As it happens, I just experienced the same thing with my X-T5 this past weekend.

I was shooting an event in the Pre-shot ES mode (continuous focus, electronic shutter, high speed continuous etc) and it worked fine until it didn't. There were a number of times when after taking a series of shots the camera "froze" as you describe - nothing short of removing the battery got it working again, including "turning it off" (which shows us that 'fly by wire' systems can make for some confusion.

SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB cards - that I have used numerous times before without issue, and formatted in camera prior to the shoot.

Puzzling, to say the least - perhaps Fuji has a firmware update comout out to fix this?
