Selecting shutter speed in manual mode

When using my x-E3, command dial for shutter speed in manual it only allows me to go up or down a stop in speed. Is there a way to get it to allow you to choose more shutter speeds?

You have do select the main shutter speed with the top wheel. The command dial is used for finetuning.

Which command dial? When I set my top dial to any manual speed (which are indeed a stop apart), the rear dial will override that speed in + or - 1/3 stop increments. If you do not have shutter speed on your rear command dial, dive into the menu; it is selectible.

The rear command dial is shutter speed by default on that camera, the front will be aperture.
