My favorite Photography Quote is...

“I do have a personal discipline of only taking one picture of one thing. Not two. I would take more than one and get so confused later. I was trying to figure out which was the best frame. I said, this is ridiculous—I’m just going to take one.”

William Eggleston

You have to hear him say "ridiculous" in the mot possibly pissed manner hahaha

"The point of training is to increase the speed at which one can be precise." César Luis Menotti

A football coach, not a photographer, but relevant for photography. Just substitute 'practise' for 'training'.

Minor White

"First I saw the mountain, then I saw the camera, then I saw the mountain."

“The fact is that relatively few photographers ever master their medium. Instead they allow the medium to master them and go on an endless squirrel cage chase from new lens to new paper to new developer to new gadget, never staying with one piece of equipment long enough to learn its full capacities, becoming lost in a maze of technical information that is of little or no use since they don’t know what to do with it.” – Edward Weston
