This problem existed in previous Mac OS and versions of X Raw studio and firmware!

RAW images are stored in a folder on the Mac.

After using the X Raw Studio for short time for example by changing the look of various film simulations of .RAF files the X Raw studio software crashes.

I would much appreciate it if Fujifilm software engineers solve this persistent problem.

Attached a .txt file with the crash report.

There are several Fujifilm app listings that also say to hold off updating to macOS 15 Sequoia for now.

For what it is worth, this is not limited to Fujifilm apps, other softwares are having problems. As far as some of the big editors go, …,

Adobe has a list of minimum version of apps that can work here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-sequoia-compatibility-common-issues.html

Affinity Photo is not quite completely ready:

You may find some other softwares are ready and some are not. This posting should be time-limited and be rendered obsolete as updates are released.

As I stated in my original post it also did not work well in the previous version of macOS.

I do not think anyone missed that, but because you have upgraded the operating system — with the new os causing problems for the app, it will be far more difficult to help you determine a solution for the issue. Once the new app version is released that is supposed to work with the new os, perhaps the issue you are seeing will ‘disappear’.

These apps are very memory, gpu and main cpu intensive. Running them repeatedly takes a lot of resources -and- causes the computer to generate a lot of heat. There could be an issue with the memory manager. The MacBook Air does not have a fan, it gets rid of the heat by throttling everything back. This can cause timing issues, all sorts of problems. But, until the updates all catch up to each other, essentially every answer is just speculating.

In short, this software is useless.

They should make it run natively on the Mac / Windows OS and if Fuji is so paranoid that others will be using their software without owning their product. Then use the camera as a license key by having it connected with a USB cable.
