X-T2 CLUNK/MOVEMENT INSIDE THE CAMERA

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've recently purchased an used X-T2 in a very clean condition. As soon as I picked up the camera out of the box I noticed a noticeable clunking feel when I tilt the camera up and down from the EVF area. It is rather a heavy/soft movement then small piece rattling inside. It happens when power ON or OFF without a lens on.

I'm just curious if this is normal or not since I'm very new to Fujifilm cameras.

Thank you!!

If you have a lens attached it's more likely the lens. The lenses with electromagnetic focusing have a freely moving focus assembly until the camera is turned on. That is normal. If it's in the body there is a problem.
