PC AutoSave MacOs Sierra & XT-10 - Not working

I've been waiting for a version of PC AutoSave to be available for Sierra and I noticed tonight that v1.0.1.0 is available. The note says "The compatibility with macOS Sierra is added".

 

I am trying to link my XT-10 with PC AutoSave for the first time. I select 'PC Auto Save Setting' from the menu on the Mac app. I then select 'Manual Setting'. Then I navigate through the menu on the XT-10 to 'PC Auto Save Setting' and 'Manual Setup'. I choose my router SSID from the list on the XT-10 and then connect the camera to the router successfully. The camera then searches for the PC, finds it (same PC ID number shown on camera screen and in window for Mac app). The camera then asks if I want to "Register this destination?". I click OK and the camera screen displays 'Registering this destination'. So far so good. However at the same instant I press OK on the camera to register the destination, the Mac app just crashes. The camera is then left displaying 'Registering this destination', but never succeeds in doing so. I've redone this about a dozen times now and have also done a full Mac reboot, but I always get the same result.

 

Any suggestions?

I need to add that I am using an X-Pro2.

I encountered the very same problem when trying to pair my X-Pro2 to my iMac.

 

Now, after so many attempts I started to try to sort things out. And as a first shot I disconnected the iMac from the lan, I unplugged its ether cable. Afterwards the iMac was only connected to the network via wifi, logged into the very same wifi-router as my X-Pro2 did. And all of a sudden the pairing worked as described by FUJIFILM.

 

I set the folder for the auto-save function to a new one, started playback on the X-Pro2 and started the auto-upload. It works.

 

It seems that macOS might encounter issues when connected to more than one network at a time. Perhaps this might add to the problem we're facing.

I've an X-T2, and to be quite honestI have given up on pairing with my OSX Sierra. What I have discovered is that "Image Capture" the OSX app is unbelievably fast. All you need is the cable, cable up, switch camera on and boom up pops Image Capture and with a couple of settings I am well away. Both RAW and JPG are transferred to a folder of my choice and this happens quickly on my Mac.

 

So I have no need fortunately to mess further with trying to pair. Of one thing I am sure, a Bluetooth connection would be far easier to make. I have my doubts whether any wireless transfer will approach the speed of a cabled connection.

Good that you got it working but that is too much messing about for me. I might try it though being a curious beggar. But if I have to disconnect the ethernet everytime I want to pair, that would drive me nuts.
