Hi guys,

is there any possibility to assign a fn button to directly switch on/off the internal flash, without being led to the flash menu first? Haven't found a way till now, maybe someone else was more successful or that option just doesn't exist. I'd find it useful being able to just turn it on/off, with general settings saved in the flash menu.

Cheers

N

I also found it a hassle to use the flash. My fix for that issue is: turn the flash on but shoot in electronic shutter mode. The camera won't flash in that mode. Then, when you want to use the flash switch to the mechanical shutter (for me, the fn button). Thus the fn button effectively becomes the flash button. Back wheel press for the flash menu and good to go.

This works for me but I almost always shoot with the e-shutter.
