X100VI - Playback of image in OVF right after shot was taken

Recommended Posts

I switched to the latest X100VI from a previous X100F model.

One of my favoured settings was to use the OVF with the option to automatically switch to EVF right after the shot to display the just taken image for 1.5s in the viewfinder, then right after, the EVF would automatically switch back to OVF.

Somehow I can not find this option on the new X100VI, has this been omitted?

Thanks for any reply

Thanks for your reply.

My image display is set up as you recommended.

The issue is, on my older X100, once I took a shot through the OVF, immediately the OVF would switch to EVF to display the taken image for 1.5s. In my actual case (X100VI), I take an image, but the OVF stays, no switch to EVF nor any image replay...

I suspect a firmware issue concerning that function (firmware 1.11)

🤔

My camera is running the same firmware and does exactly what you say you want to happen

Ok, got it working now, was a bit confusing to to figure it out...

In View Mode Setting > Shooting > ONLY 1. option (Eye sensor) and 4. option (VF+EyeSensor-VF only+Sensor) result in the desired VF image playback function.

My View Mode Setting > Playback - was set to  > Eye Sensor - This has no impact on that function, very unlogic in my opinion.

Any way, problem solved, thanks again 👍
