Autofocus while recording

I recently bought an xs-20 with the xf 18-55 lens.

I'm having a lot of trouble with focus when I try to shoot video from one of the c1-c4 settings. This is what l'm doing: I configured some recipes that I like and I can take photos normally. The problem starts when I press the record button to shoot video with that recipe. I don't understand why, despite all the focus settings being set to manual, when I start filming, the camera switches to autofocus and I no longer have control over where I want to focus. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, did you fix that? I am just curious (I don't have an XS-20 but maybe in future).

Apparently, when you press the red buttom to record video, the camera shoots with some presets that you can’t control. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it…

Le impostazioni da C1 a C4 non restano quando schiacci il pulsante rosso. Passa alla ultima impostazione lasciata in modalità video.

Anche io avevo cercato di salvare delle pellicole in C1/C2 per poi usarle nei video ma non è possibile. Solo per le fotografie. Puoi solo modificare quando sei in modalità video per avere dei filtri personalizzati. Quindi un punto in meno per fuji 😁
