Hi! It was my understanding that the rear command dial of the GFX 50sii does Focus Check by default. The fact is that it doesn't and I haven't found a way to assign Focus Check to that dial. The options for that Dial do not include Focus Check. I was able to assign Focus Check to the AE-L button but that is not my preference. The problem I have is that I dont want to turn on Focus Check at the menu level because I dont want to have that feature turn on every time I move my focus ring (I shoot in Manual mode and use Manual focus). Any ideas or suggestions as to why the rear command dial does not do focus check and cannot be programmed to do so? Thanks!

Thanks Greybeard. Yes I assigned Focus Check to the AE-L button but that is after I was not able to assign it to the rear command dial. The only options available for the rear command dial are SS, Aperture, ISO, None.
