If anyone can guess what animal this is from, I'll photograph a brownie just for you and send it to the winner... ;-)

The only thing that comes to my mind then would be Mammoth. That could also explain the darker color.

Quincy, you're on the money. And exactly why it's darker. You won... It's a mammoth molar. I will photograph your virtual brownie tomorrow and post it here for you... My best, Wi.

Wi and Quincy,

This was the briefest and most hilarious scientific discussion between two experts that I have seen so far. Do you have any more of that stuff ? And what happened to that brownie ? I want to see that (I have no idea what that is, I must google it).

btw beautiful subjects for photography on your Bali Charm site.

Cheers guys

    • I tried to restart the PC, and still the same thing happen, the connection is on and off. Tried different (worked well with macbook) and samething happen. But tried with PC laptop (Acer), then the connection is ok, so my desktop PC has USB port problem. Then I tried to use capture one pro 20, for live view, but it won't show up. May be you know the minimum version of C1 pro that support gfx100 live view tethering ? As my macbook limited to High Sierra 10.13, and can't install newer OS. I notice newest FUJIFILM TETHER APP may support live view, does it ? Thank you so much for your advice and tips, really appreciate it. Best regards from Indonesia

    • Thanks Jerry   Changed both settings and it worked perfectly.
    • Welcome to the forum. Usually in the screen setup part, there is a setting called “Preview exp../wb in manual mode”, try turning this off. It may also be called “Exposure Preview“, it still needs to be off. Some folks additionally also turn on Natural Live View, but as always, you mileage may vary. I cannot help you with your second question, sorry about that, perhaps someone down the road can? p.s. turn it back on when not using the flash, or set a function button to toggle it on/off.
    • Hi   I have two questions.   First one, does anyone know if it's possible to brighten the LCD screen on the GFX100s when using flash, once your shutter speed, aperture and ISO are set? The screen is often too dark to focus see anything when using flash.   Second question, has anyone encountered an issue with Godox AD600pro flash and focus bracketing where the flash stops after around 10 images, if so how did you get around it? It's not recycle time, I've tried long intervals and I don't have the issue when I'm using pixel shift function.   Best regards.
