Recommended Posts

Hey Fellows,

I want you to show your beautiful pictures, taken with a fuji-x camera and attached old Minolta Lenses.

To start ... Here are two pics, taken with my X-Pro1 and the Minolta MD 4/200mm.

I don't know why there appears to be so little interest in MD Minolta and Vivitar/Tokina lenses. There is a sweet spot around 1978 to 1982 for Minolta when from what i know Minolta was working with Leica and produced some wonderful lenses. The Minolta lenses are listed here: http://minolta.eazypix.de/lenses/    Mostly the Minolta MD lenses from this time are small, well made, high quality and cheap. Try and avoid the MDIII versions. I have 50mm f1.4; Minolta MD Zoom 75-200mm f4.5 (Leica); Minolta MD Zoom 50-135mm f3.5 (Leica); Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45 mm f/2.0 (Leica); Vivitar/Tokina 100mm f2.8; Vivitar/Tokina 24mm f2.8; Vivitar MD 70-150mm f/3.8 Close Focusing Auto Zoom with Vivitar matched extension tubes. I use a standard adapter and one that converts the lens back to a full frame.
