Mike G
Dear all, Is there a way to switch off the focus point grid when using the focus point selector lever? Cheers Mike

Mike G
Milandro I have looked, but no mention of the grid!
milandro
I can’t believe that it has to stay there
Mike G
When the shutter button is pressed the grid goes away, what I would like is that it not there at all, it is not necessary to change the point of focus!

roicead
if you're talking about the focus point selection then what I do is either half press the shutter or press the menu button and it goes away. check your function buttons for the af selection and make sure that you're not pressing that fn button by accident. keep in mind that there's one on the front that you can accidentally press and if you have the batter grip there's another on the bottom side of the batter grip that the heel of my hand keeps hitting. Mike G
Dear all thanks for the responses, but I ha come to the conclusion that the grid has to stay until the shutter button in half pressed, hey ho.
MikeS
Hi Mike Not sure if this is what you want or is just a half measure. 1. Dont press the toggle button in when manipulating it. In this state you only get very small dots on the screen. 2. When you press the toggle in. the hard squared grid appears. 3. To get it back to just the pin dots on screen, press the menu button. Hope that helps Mike G

Mike G
Thanks Pete, that's not it, I think I'm a hiding for nothing here. I don't think I'm going to get what I was asking for!
