I've had my X-T10 for a couple of months now, and have really enjoyed it. I really liked the remote app for my Nexus 6, as it allowed me to shoot group photos with me in them, without having to rush around after setting the timer.

I recently shot some video, and was happy with the results. I had a requirement to capture a band performance (I was in the band) so I put the camera on a tripod to shoot the video using the remote. I set the camera up, and ran a short video test using the button on the camera directly, to set the zoom and focus. Then I turned on the wireless option on the camera and started up the remote app on my phone. I shot a couple of stills with the remote, and everything looked good,. Then I switched to video mode with the remote, and the scene got VERY dark. So dark, I couldn't make out any of the subjects. The video was useless.

I turned off the remote, and started the video manually using the button on the camera. The video was perfect! I turned the wireless remote back on, and the video was for all practical purposes - black. I could barely make out the subjects.  Any clue what is going on?
