Please Help I'm having trouble setting up the Q settings. pictures show what I've got C settings set to.

Problem is when I activate either setting, the image setting changes.

Please bear with me.

Base C1/C1 set to default Raw/F. Don't understand the two settings.

C2 set to Fine Jpeg. Sometimes shows as Base C2

C3 set to Fine Monochrome

When I acces the Q button to choose C2 or C3 it becomes Raw/F, and C1 becomes Fine.

The same if I set C1 to just Raw

Or all will show Raw/F or Fine

Or if I set C2/C3 to Fine, C1 Becomes Fine.

I make sure that I save each setting under edit/save custom setting, but it doesn't make any difference. I still have to change the setting, It's driving me nuts.

Hope all this makes sence to someone.

Thanks

I think it only aplies to JPEG's

I gave the wrong link (mine was for the X-T3) :

https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t4/menu_shooting/image_quality_setting/index.html#edit-save_custom_setting

I don't have an X-T4 to test it out but it does look as though some affect the raw (like Raw Recording) but you do have to use the Edit Custom settings menu to make changes not the Q Menu

Bit pointless having a custom setting if you can't set it to your specific needs.

Really dissapointed, especially having just bought the camera.

Petrhaps, hopefully a firmware update will sort it.

Doubtful the X-T4 will get any more function updates.

FujiFilm have added a more comprehensive custom setting to the X-T5 (and all the other newer cameras).

But people complained about that as well - they can't win.
