XT-30 II taking multiple shots when in single shot mode

Hi. I have just set up my new XT-30 and have found some expected behaviour when I have the mode select switch set to S on the form of the camera and the setting of S on the top dial.

I was expecting to get a single shot when I press the shutter but the camera takes a number of shots as if the drive is engaged. If I move the top auto select lever to AUTO, the camera takes a single shot as expected. I am therefore thinking that there must be something set incorrectly in program mode - ii is as if some king of bracketing is set up. 

Any ideas?

I have an XT-5 and was expecting the XT-30 to work in the same way as regards single shot mode.

Have you selected HDR in the Shooting Menu?
