Hi Guys,

Needing some advice if the PD Sling 6 V2 is enough for my needs since the store here where I am living require you to pay in full amount for the bag and they don't even have a demo/show model we can test if it fits our gear.

Currently I only carry the following during trips:

1. X-H2 with XF 16-55 F2.8

2. 33mm F1.4

3. Cables / Chargers / 2 Extra Batteries

I'm contemplating in buying the PD Sling 6 V2 since it is quite burdensome to bring the Everyday Backpack for some trips I do.

You advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I love Peak Design stuff but it is pricey.  I have the Slide Lite strap and its great.  The lock mechanism is pretty cool, making adjustments easy but secure when locked.  But can't comment on sizing for what you will carry.

Yeah PD is very good. Already have the Every Backpack V2, Camera Cube, and Wrist Straps. They are all awesome. Just took the plunge and bought the Sling 6L V2. Once it arrives I'll post pictures of my gear with it maybe some others are contemplating on buying this bag and would want to have a sizing guide.

I think it should work for what you listed depending on how large your charger is. I can fit my X-T5 with XF 70-300 F4-5.6 vertically and XF 30 F2.8 or XF 18-55mm F2.8-4. I can get all three lenses in without a charger if stack the smaller ones.  I had the 3L first when just had X100V and liked it so much I added the 6L.

Just got my 6L last week and it fits the following:

2. XF 33mm 1.4

3. XF 56mm 1.2

4. Charging Cord

5. 2 Power Banks

6. iPad Pro 11" (Kind of hard to place in, I think a iPad Mini 8.3" would be a better fit)

Thanks for the update - would the iPad Pro 11" fit better with less camera equipment? Or is it just the size of the tablet?

I tried placing the iPad by itself with the bag empty and it fits easily. The picture below is how I placed the iPad 11" without a case or magic keyboard. So yeah I think it'll fit better with less equipment. Sadly I can't simulate a smaller camera such as an x100v which I think would be perfectly sized for this.

Thanks - I can't make the picture work but my question is answered

    • Hmmm ... The custom profile files created and stored by XRawStudio look pretty similar. The whole structure of the files is exactly the same at least for X-H1, X-T4 and a X-H2 related (so, 3 generations). Just the values for camera and serial# are (certainly) different. And features/values that do not exist for an older camera generation are left empty there. That's all. E.g. if I take a custom profile file created with XRawStudio for the X-H2, and I copy it to the X-T4 folder and just edit the camera and serial# information with a simple text editor ... this manually adjusted X-H2 custom profile perfectly works with the X-T4 inside XRawStudio. As the underlying data structure seems to be very much the same and data are considering camera differences already, it cannot be rocket science to allow XRawStudio to manage custom profiles across cameras, even across camera generations.
    • I had this same problem with my manual focus lens. I couldn't enable focus peaking. I thought it was a problem with the lens, and was about to give up on the lens. Then I switched the setting on my XT5 from back button focus, which I always use,  to focus with the shutter button. And lo and behold, the focus peaking worked! I have no idea why that should make a difference, but it did. So maybe that is the problem that others are facing. Anyway, it's worth a try!
