Yes LCD is never OFF.

Have you made sure that the Movie/Stills switch (under the shutter speed dial) is set to STILL? Menus are different depending on the setting of this switch.

This is pretty good. How did you go about stacking the sub-frames? I think once you recover from the fun you had, and decide to start editing, you will find a lot of detail in this image. More please.

I have exactly same problem, cannot get back to photo mode in menu, stuck in movie mode. Please show me how to fix this. Thanks
