Sorry folks for my earlier post! Although I don't understand why there was no display, it seems that the two batteries in the grip were in fact completely discharged. After full recharging, everything looks normal (all three batteries showing white.) I will monitor carefully, I hope there is nothing causing rapid discharge.

HI everyone, My first post here. Have had XT-2 for several years, very happy with it. Have the VPB grip with two additional batteries (all OEM batteries) on it at all times. All of a sudden, the rear screen does not show the two batteries in the grip - not white for fully / partially charged, nor red for discharged (I know that they are actually fully charged) - just nothing. I have removed the grip several times, gently cleaned contacts, etc. Any thoughts?

When I flip up the EF-X8 mount flash it does not register that flash is available i.e. I can't adjust flash settings. When I pop it back down I can adjust settings and my XT4 registers that a flash is mounted to the camera but obviously cannot take a picture with flash.    Any troubleshooting ideas?
