I had the 34ƒ1.4 as my first Fuji prime, back when I got an X-T1 (and subsequently gave my Canon gear to my daughter, who has put it to good use!). I have beaten on that lens a lot, and when the WR version appeared I went to it straightaway. The 23ƒ2 makes a nice WR replacement for my X100T. The ƒ1.4 still has a special look wide-open which I occasionally like to exploit...

I expect that by early next year I'll be settled on the 18/23/25/50 WR's with the 90 as a backup, and may sell my 56 and 16 and maybe the Xt-1 too, with a second X-Pro2 and keep the X100T (or an F) as a backup. This will be a pretty old-school kit which is a good thing.

I use the XC 16-50 for its compactness, reasonable IQ and IS, and the 27/2.8 for its (IMHO) fantastic crispness @f/8 and beyond. My 18-135 is getting dust, since its IQ off-center is, for me, unacceptably bad below f/11 at all focal lengths...

Ironically, my two most used lenses are the 10-24mm f4 and the 55-200mm f4.5-5.6 and I may not be using either of them any more.

The 10-24mm died due to drowning and I expect to replace it with the 8-16mm when it comes out.  Now that I have the 80mm macro, I expect to replace the 55-200mm with a combination of 56mm f1.2, 80mm macro and 100-400mm.

Last year mind you, my most used lenses were the 23mm f2 and the 100-400mm.

Looking at these survey results, it makes you wonder why Fuji don't think a remade 35mm F1.4 or better, with WR and the latest focusing won't sell!?  Perhaps it's part of a strategy to shift customers onto the GFX.

Totally agree, I really would like an update to this and the 23 1.4 sooner rather than later. Followed by the 16 1.4 and 56 1.2.

My most-used lens is the XF 10-24mm f4.  I wish it was weather-sealed, particularly since I live in a very rainy climate.  The upcoming 8-16mm f2.8 WR won't accept filters, so it's not really a viable option for my photography; I may just have to pick up a second 10-24 in case the first one drowns...

100% agree with this. I live by the sea and a lot of my photos are taken there. It’s not an idle request for Fuji to update some of the older lenses with just better AF, but WR can save your equipment - my body is weather sealed, but my primes, which I love and use anyway for IQ, give me a lot of worry where they’re not sealed.

I won’t bother to buy the 10-24mm until it’s updated, since I don’t own it yet. The 8-16mm isn’t an option for me either because of the filters issue...

While he 18mm f2 is said to have a "bad" reputation, is slow to autofocus and noisy, I note it's mentioned often in the "most used" lenses. Mine is all but permanently attached to an X-Pro 1 that I use at the newspaper. Why doesn't Fuji consider updating this lens to reduce noise and increase AF speed.

The most used lens had been the 23mm f/1.4 but, recently I purchased the 27mm f/2.8 and it's almost glued to my X-T3. Other lenses I used often are the 16-55mm f/2.8 and 16mm f/1.4

Yes, I'd guessed that my 35mm or my 18-135 would be the most used, but when I checked on Flickr it was my 27mm that gets most use.

It's such a versatile focal length and so light.
