Can't view pictures in playback

I am a new Fuji user as of June 2022. I have enjoyed my X-T4 so far, but I am currently experiencing an issue. When I take a picture I am un able to view the picture. There is an orange and green blinking light that appears, and when I try to shut down the camera, I get a message that says, "transferring image to PC - OK Cancel transferring and turn off the camera." If I shut off the camera and turn it on again, I can view previous images I have taken, but can not view anything new. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

How do you normally move images from your camera to your computer?

It sounds like the camera thinks that somehow it has been told to automatically go into wireless file transfer mode to your pc.

You may be able to get this turned off by a simple reset — in the menus or if that does not work then remove any pairing with your computer option you have put in place. Failing that, there is the hard reset, take the main battery out, leave the camera on a shelf or wherever for several or a few more days until the internal backup battery completely drains away. This restores all settings to the factory defaults, which should fix the issue, bur you will have to put all of your preferences back in.

    • That is so cool, and very clear too!  Thanks Jerry.
    • It must have been some weird glitch in the matrix...I deleted all the uploaded pics and toggled all the fine and raw settings, re-imported and now it works as normal again. Who knows?!🤷🏻‍♂️
    • Thanks Jerry, i must give it a try. I suppose it is better in a place without too much light pollution.
    • It looks like there may be several options that will affect your sequences. [For those reading along, a holy grail sequence is explained here: https://petapixel.com/2018/08/02/how-to-shoot-and-edit-a-holy-grail-timelapse-at-sunset-or-sunrise/ .] I very well sympathize with troubles coming from trying to get remote sequences, but sometimes, well, …, you still have to babysit the camera either in-person or via long distance wifi or ethernet. I noticed several light sources popping up in and out of your Smugmug video. Maybe try using spot metering with the exposure tied to the focus point. As long as no car lights or flashlights, etc. turn on and off inside the focus area, lights outside of the focus area will have far less effect on the overall exposure. You will have to tie the metering to the focus point as explained here: https://fujifilm-x.com/en-gb/learning-centre/which-metering-mode-should-you-choose/ It would be nice if there is a quick-do-this and everything is copacetic, but probably it will take working each part of the issues you are facing one at a time until you can get results you like better. The most troubling part is giving the camera free rein over the shutter speed with other “auto” features turned on as well. Older cameras did not have as much latitude to do as they wanted.
    • what exactly are you doing and what exact steps are you taking? when you say you "import to Lr or my phone" do you mean you are importing to LightRoom on your phone? what sort of phone and how are you importing the image files?
