X-S10 wireless remote control shutter release set up

G’day! I have really been wanting a wireless remote control shutter release for my FUJIFILM X-S10 (I hate the app) I understand you need some sort of adapter but am a totally stupid when it comes to this. I am hoping someone can tell me I have what I need. I have……

• 1. A black cable that came with my X-S10 (still in plastic). It has a headphone jack side and the other side inserts into the camera (I think where the charger goes???
• 2. a 3.5mm male to 2.5 mm female adapter https://www.amazon.ca/axGear-Adapter-Female-Stereo-Converter/dp/B08KHSB9RN
• 3. A Camera Wireless Shutter Release Remote Control for Canon https://www.amazon.ca/AODELAN-Wireless-Shutter-Release-Replace/dp/B07C7MM7YH I have been told this might work if i use one designed for canon with my adapter.

PLEASE HELP! Is this everything I need? Will this work? Is there anything I need to change in my settings for it to work? I appreciate you all

Sure! But you have to go into the video menu and make sure the port is changed to support remote operation rather than "mic jack".

I’m hoping Fuji make a wireless Bluetooth remote like what you can get on other brands.
