7.5mm Lens images + Some thoughts about travel photography

I bought a 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 fish-eye lens for my xt20. This lens usually produces grotesque images. Occasionally, it will offer a glimpse into a surreal world of photography unlike anything I've ever experienced. I can't put my finger on it but I'd say the lens forces you to connect small things to a larger scene, and this gives you room to PACK the image with information and context.

18mm fujifilm lens. I feel like I can't get much more creative due to the constraints of this small space. It's a problem I face throughout my travel and street photography journeys. Let's try the 7.5mm:

 

Suddenly the space feels much larger, and this is where the interesting creative effect happens. What am I going to do with all this new space? And quite naturally, I put myself inside of it:

 

I can't figure out why this lens is so weird and yet so lovable. It's not a Professional lens, but it may be a secret weapon for people who just want to document their life or some events. The lens itself is TINY and CHEAP. I bring it with me everywhere. I recommend it to anyone who wants to challenge themselves.
