Shutter delay with XT3

today while shooting, my xt3 had a shutter delay, it did nothing when i pressed the shutter, but only took a shot when i released the shutter, it only happened twice, and im using some vintage manual focus lenses so no focus/release priorities, any clue?

Even using vintage lenses, I would think it is still possible to have your camera set for focus priority. I would  double check the setting if I were you.

Did you have the shutter dial set to B by mistake?

definitely not i dont use the shutter dial often

You may want to check the following settings (menu options)…

• Self Timer? 
• Auto Focus (AF) set to Release?

Also… Try a different SD Card (formatted in camera)

Otherwise, have you tried resetting to factory defaults?

only happened twice though and cant reproduce the error
