Sleepless in San Francisco - my date with the Fujifilm X-70

A bit of a different review of what I normally do...

I would like to hear what you think?

Thank you Bjorn for this very interesting article! :-) Yours and some other reviews forced me to preorder one *g*

I got it two days ago and I love it, it fits perfectly in my pocket and the image quality is very good. This 18.5mm lens is perfectly sharp vom F2.8 onwards.

I posted some full res samples on flickr here: Flickr X70 Sample Images

Cheers

Tom

Interesting, you got a camera without a built-in viewfinder and immediately added one on top, even before taking a first serious photos. While there are other models with viewfinder.

What makes X-70 so special for preferable choice over others?

Not over, in addition to. I'll be keeping the X100, X100T and X-Pro1, and am waiting for the X-Pro2. You can never have too many Fuji's!  ;)

What I like about the X70 is the smaller size and the tilting touch screen. I'm looking forward to trying out that screen for shooting from the waist.
