1st time posting: X-E2 at Disney Aulani resort

Recommended Posts

Hello all Fuji x shooters,

I'm a Fuji-x converter from Canon ~2 years ago, and owns both used x100s (mainly for off-camera flash) and x-e2 for all other purposes.

My gears:

- X100s and Canon EX-580 + sync cord for shooting off-camera flash

- Used X-E2

- Lenses: 14mm, 35mm, 56mm.

I loves to shoot environmental portraits and most of my pleasure time are spent snap-shooting photos of my kids & family on the go.  With these little cameras, I'm able to travel much lighter, ease, and spend a lot of more time enjoying the views, playing with my kids and family.   I'm always a fan of landscape when I have a chance but i no longer carry tripod so all landscapes are shot handheld unfortunately :):) :).

Being a Canon shooter who shots RAWs all the time, I'm amazed at how Fuji system creates beautiful JPG and color rendering and since then, I mostly shoots in JPG with little post processing in CS6.  The sharpness of these lenses way surpasses what Canon lenses could do.

Unfortunately, some of the files are bigger than 500KB allowed so I cannot post some of my favorite shots :).  Will adjust the size later if you would like to see them.

Thank you very much for viewing my photos.  Any feedback/comment is appreciated.

These are shot at ISO 6400, hand-held & de-noised by CS 6.

This is the equivalent of 43 minutes, 40 seconds of exposure. NGC 1502 is a neat little cluster located in the Camelopardalis Constellation. This region of space was thought to be fairly empty by early astronomers, but as you can see, there is a lot there. Kemble's Cascade (a.k.a. Kemble 1) is named for Father Lucian Kemble, a Canadian Franciscan friar who wrote about it to Walter Scott Houston, an author for the Sky And Telescope magazine. Houston named the asterism for Fr. Kemble and the name "stuck". NGC 1501 is the Oyster Nebula. A longer focal length telescope is needed to bring this one into good viewing range, but it is well worth the effort. • Looking for input; there are some decent deals and might want to take advantage to expand my lenses for my 100s already own: 110/2 32-64 35-70 100-200 + TC   Shooting mostly family shots, bringing my kit to capture family outings indoors and out. Tracking the 63/43 effective FLs on the two, but has anybody used both? Would the 55 (covered by two zooms right now) be redundant? Would the 80 be too similar in character to my 110 for portraiture?
    • See what I mean? Two instantaneous ads. Worthless.
