XT4: Fuji RR-100 remote shutter release not working

Hello,

I have a Fuji XT4 and have been using the Fuji RR-100 shutter release for long exposures. For whatever reason now it will not take a photo. It will focus on the subject but not take the photo.  If I remove the cable from camera, the shutter button works fine. I must have changed a setting but I have no idea where to start. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help,

LuAnn

Well, I just fixed my own problem! I had taped the straight end of the cable into the 'L' shaped end that comes with it so it doesn't stick straight out from the camera. The two ends came apart under the tape (electrical tape) I had them held together with so I retaped them and now the cable works again!

It is nice when we can fix our own problems, ya!

Have a nice day!
