XT-4 overheats

Hi , 

I have been encountering an issue -

on regular use - photos and videos the camera extremely overheats - to the point of warnings coming up on the screen 

did anyone encounter this issue ? 

the temperatures outside are around 20-25 C

I don't  have an X-T4 but this might be a faulty battery. Worth a try.

tested it with both my batteries - with same result , 

 

this could lead to damage to the camera .

Definitely shouldn't overheat when you're taking photos, sometimes can overheat with extended use when using video.  Latest firmware was supposed to help with overheating in video situations - v1.22

Not sure what else to suggest, perhaps reset the camera to factory settings and see if it still happens?
