Hello,
I have recently purchased a Fuji XT4 with a XF 18-55mm lens and want to know how I can zoom in electronically/ digitally so I don’t have to just rely upon doing it manually?

Warm regards and God bless,

From slightly embarrassed new Fuji user

By chance did you used to be an Olympus camera fan? They had some power zoom lenses.

The XF 18-55mm does not have that ability, it is manual zoom all the way.

Fujifilm has at least one power zoom lens as well: the XC 15–45.

But even with that lens, the zoom is controlled via a ring on the lens itself, not through the camera. The Micro Four Thirds power zooms function the same way.

Sony makes a similar 16-50mm power zoom.

Thank you so, much for your response and yes I was previously an Olympus camera fan.

I feel much more at ease knowing that I’m not missing something (you don’t know… what you don’t know). It’s a beautiful day here so, I’m looking forward to going out and becoming more well acquainted with this manual zoom lens.

Warm regards and God bless,
