X-S10 auto ISO restricted to 1/500 sec

Yes this is true for the X-S10 - I think its the same for all Fujifilm X-Series cameras.

The only clumsy workaround I've found is to use one of the command dials as program shift - but it has to be done every time the camera is turned on or wakes from sleep.

Thanks for your replies, looks like when I am shooting birds or wildlife I should just use a high iso setting (1600, 3200 etc. ) and adjust as needed.

This seems a strange decision by Fuji but perhaps they have their reasons.

Thanks again.

That is an interesting idea but I do use various film sims quite a lot so would miss the ability to adjust film sims using the top left dial.

The problem with this camera is that it has so many useful facilities and not enough dials or buttons for everything. But then what camera does. The X-S10 does have a lot of dials and buttons and I love it.
