Welcome the new Fuji X Forum

So can people know about this place already, or do we need to keep it a secret for now as a beta thing? ^_^

We ramp up the traffic step by step - The Fuji X forum is no more secret (never was...)

Feel free to link here or to invite members!

Perhaps it works on thumbnails (which are desperately trying to be square, btw), but the main image in the gallery seems to be unresized.

I contacted the forum software provider:

Bad news: In this version GDlib is the only option.

Good news: The new version which is just released gives the option to switch to ImageMagick.

But - never install a x.0 version of any software - when IPB 4.1.3 (or so) is released I'll think about an upgrade.

I have no idea what kind of traffic/storage limitations you have here, but have a look at Picturefill or Retina.js powered solutions too (2048px is the new XGA, and photography related forum needs to be Retina ready). Maybe you can lift a 500kb UL limitation, too?…

Give me some time to look deeper into this!

small thing: should we discuss lighting in "accessories" or will a separate place be added?

Just added a dedicated flash section here:

Added a „Bags & Straps“ section too - in my experience Fuji X photographers love it ;)

    • Hi everyone I have a problem while using my xpro3 and strobes, from a day to an other I started to have a black shade on the side of my ID photos so it's kind of problematic. It's like if the speed is to high except it happened even at 1/30s. And the shutter speed seems accurate with ambiant light so I'm a bit disturbed about all of this.   Anyone has an idea about that case ?

This is the equivalent of 43 minutes, 40 seconds of exposure. NGC 1502 is a neat little cluster located in the Camelopardalis Constellation. This region of space was thought to be fairly empty by early astronomers, but as you can see, there is a lot there. Kemble's Cascade (a.k.a. Kemble 1) is named for Father Lucian Kemble, a Canadian Franciscan friar who wrote about it to Walter Scott Houston, an author for the Sky And Telescope magazine. Houston named the asterism for Fr. Kemble and the name "stuck". NGC 1501 is the Oyster Nebula. A longer focal length telescope is needed to bring this one into good viewing range, but it is well worth the effort.
