Newbie, here w/ x100t

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. Brand new member and user of Fuji. I've been a photographer for sometime now, being introduced originally to film back in high school (1998) I took a small hiatus then jumped back in with Nikon digitals. I still currently use Nikon for my professional work, currently using 2 Nikon Z6 bodies with a D750 as backup. (I do photos and video for real estate everyday)

I've always loved the Fuji x100 series look and simplicity though. Something about the no nonsense 23mm F2 lens and the beautiful camera body...not to mention super portable and un assuming. I got the camera to make photography fun again. With my Nikons I use them for work, they are work cameras...unless I can get out to the Alabama Hills or Big Sur. Sure I'll use them for more fine art or landscape photography but the fuji I can grab and shoot anywhere anytime. Currently I've been using it to photograph at home more. I've been doing a family docuseries of our home life. Also been dabbling a little in street photography but I don't live in a big city so I don't feel it has the same affect.

I've enjoyed using the film simulations and have found fujixweekly and his "recipes" as well which are quite fun. I don't mind NOT editing at the moment as I spend a large majority of time editing images on my laptop everyday. Its been a welcome way to shoot honestly.

Anyways, thanks for the welcome!
